Dear Professor Woolman

I am part of the team responsible for the submission of Stellenbosch University research outputs to the Department of Higher Education (DHET).

One of the criteria for the submission of articles published in the local DHET accredited journals is that we must submit proof to our auditors that these journals adhere to the 75 % rule, i.e., at least 75% of contributions published in the journal emanate from multiple institutions.

Our raw data indicates that SU has published 1 article in this journal in 2020 (volume 10).

As editor of the journal, please may I ask you to provide us with official confirmation by no later than 15 March 2021, that volume 10 is not an in-house publication and that SU’s authorship does not exceed 25% for each of these issues or volumes.
